| This is a zunari kabuto, or three piece Japanese helm,
modified somewhat for the SCA. The material is powder coated 12, 14 and
16 gauge mild steel, with polypropylene lacing. |

| The image to the right shows the helm before it was powdercoated and
laced, and before I added standing rivets to the helm at the customer's
request. At this point all of the structural rivets have been countersunk
and ground flush. |

| This shot shows the additions that are necessary for the SCA- a rigid
back skirt, under the shikaro, and a face grill. |
